Angela has dedicated 20 plus years in the nonprofit field.  Ms. Medina obtained her B.A. in Liberal Arts from Mount Holyoke College and her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Baruch College. She served on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence and was recognized as a Top 100 Leader Against Domestic Violence in CT.  She is a recipient of Fairfield County’s 40 under 40 Top Business Leaders Award. Angela has a passion for diversity, equity, inclusion and nonprofit management. Angela lives in Clermont, Florida with her partner and their two children.

Sandra Aguirre-Miranda

Sandra Aguirre-Miranda joined the Jane Addams Peace Association as the Grant Research Associate in 2023. She brings fifteen years of experience in legal administration and support in Chicago, IL. Sandra is an alum of Mount Holyoke College, where she earned her B.A. in Politics and Art History. She’s an avid reader and enjoys cooking new recipes.

Eva Hanson

Social Media and Marketing Intern

Eva is a student at Mount Holyoke College who is currently studying English and Sociology, with a Nexus in Journalism, Media, and Public Discourse. She loves to read and write and is passionate about educational justice and helping diverse authors and illustrators thrive.
