● Building children’s confidence: Connect students with books they relate to, to build confidence and a desire to read. We partner with local libraries to offer students additional resources within our community of book lovers.
● Investing in our future leaders: Facilitate dialogue with students about peace, justice, and equity and give them a model for conducting discussions, providing them with the tools for leadership and agency in
advocating for peace, justice, and equity.
● Narrowing the access gap: 95% of students we serve are economically disadvantaged and from underrepresented backgrounds.
