Vennette Jones is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in human resources management. Holding a Master of Law from California Southern University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Economics with a concentration in Human Resources Management, Vennette currently serves as the senior director of human resources at the Legal Defense Fund (LDF). Prior to her appointment at LDF, she dedicated over 17 years of service to the School of Visual Arts (SVA).  Vennette has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence, successfully leading through challenging times. Notably, her innovative approach to streamlining HR processes during the pandemic reflects her adaptability and forward-thinking mindset. Vennette’s diverse expertise, extensive professional background, and exceptional leadership promise to drive continued success and growth for any organization.  Beyond her professional responsibilities, Vennette is a talented dancer and Uno enthusiast. She is also a devoted parent to her creative and artistic tween daughter and is deeply passionate about social justice and criminal justice reform, actively advocating for positive change in these areas.
