Michelle Belmont is a lifelong enthusiast of book collecting and indie bookstores. Michelle began her love of working with Jane Addams Children’s Book Award as the webmistress from 2009-2014. Michelle brings a wealth of historical knowledge and technology skills to the table. Never one to shy away from more schooling, she holds dual masters degrees in Library and Information Sciences and World History. Michelle is beyond thrilled to be serving on the board, and returning to what always was a labor of love: the world of Jane Addams and social justice children’s books.
